Jack is a athletic two-way middle infielder at SS/2B plus some experience on the mound. Foot speed is solid as indicated by his 7.4 60Y time. Feet are active and aggressive in attacking while playing through ground balls with his body. Glove action is presented out front but he flips glove to field showing deep hands. Backhand is solid and he is not afraid to use it. Throws are accurate, showing life and on-line carry across the diamond.
Offensively, Jack had an excellent season with the MA Hurricanes Elite 14U showcase team and continues to show solid average abilities and power through a balanced setup. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed as he works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields. He shows a feel for the barrel with baseball jumping off his bat when centered.
